I would like to let everyone know we have SOLD our house on Kearney but we still have a 3.5 year old 2 bedroom 2 bath 2 car garage town home on an oversized corner lot for sale!

We basically created this blog to showcase our home that we recently decided to put up for sale. Its been a great house and you can tell it has been meticulously cared for both inside and out. What started out as a little paint here and there quickly grew into a remodeling project (thanks allot HGTV!) I could sit here and list all of the things we have done to this house but I don't have the patience to type it all up (nor do you want to read through it all) but I will list some of the things we have done.

The front of the house is accented with mature shrubs and trees and a rather interesting flower bed by the front porch (through out Spring, Summer & Fall different types of flowers and ferns bloom to an ever-changing landscape!)

The backyard has a roomy 10'x12' shop (with electricity!) that works great as a tool shed or could easily be insulated and turned into a workshop. The backyard also has a 10'x22' open deck. The yard is surrounded by mature trees and shrubs offering lots of privacy. There is a dog kennel located on the West side of the back yard and the East side of the house is covered (it makes it easy to stay dry and out of the elements while Barbecuing during the winter months and rainy days.) With some modifications of the fences gate this area could easily be converted to an extra covered parking spot for a vehicle, small RV or off road toys!

The front living room has a large North facing window offering lots of natural daylight. The first thing you notice upon walking into the front room is the beautifully restored hardwood floors (completed March 2009). We finished the floors in a natural low gloss polyurethane to bring out all of the natural characteristics in the wood (it turned out quite stunning) and the custom 5" decorative floor trim compliments the floors quite well. The front living room also boasts a wood burning stove which makes things cozy on those crisp Idaho evenings.

Right off of the living room is the open formal dining room. You'll also notice in the dining room you have a great view leading out to the backyard from the large sliding glass doors (the same doors lead you to the 10'x22' deck.)

Just to the east of the dining room is the LARGE kitchen with plenty of counter space to spare! The kitchen is large enough to place another table and 4 chairs at the east side and there's 2 large windows offering views into the backyard. Located on the far end of the kitchen is a door leading to the covered east side of the backyard. Around the corner there's also a spacious laundry room with another door leading out to the garage.

Next we move onto the Bathroom (completely remodeled April 2009) This bathroom has new light fixtures, toilet, sink, faucet, countertop with tile backsplash and a large ceramic tile floor. The walls are also finished with a faux finish plaster effect. Just outside of the bathroom is a large oversized linens closet.

Now moving into the 3 bedrooms....

All 3 bedrooms show below have oversized double door closets along with hardwood floors and 5" decorative floor trim. The windows and closets in each room have the wide decorative bead trim and corner blocks as well.
